If you’ve been sleeping on the Odd Future clique [with Tyler the Creator--pictured above w/Hodgy Beats--playing the role of RZA] for the past 18 months then I feel bad; you’ve been missing out on one of the only organic and new sources of good rap music [the most stagnant genre today]. All OF tapes are free [Earl, Bastard, Rolling Papers, Radical, are must have] online. “Malaya” [from the original Odd Future Tape] is probably the only Odd Future track you could get away with letting your mother hear, as the 17-20 year-olds’ lyrical content happens to be the apex of ignorance. “Malaya” has also been back on top of my head like a beanie cap lately. Dig it.
